Today we celebrate our second Christmas of the season, Russian Orthodox Christmas. Instead of Santa Claus, we have Дед Мороз/Ded Moroz, otherwise known as Grandpa Frost... He usually wears a great big pale blue coat with white fur trim and is assisted by Снегурочка/Snegurochka, otherwise known as Snow Maiden... She is dressed all in white. My parents are here to help us celebrate and I just sneaked away from the kitchen, where my mother and I are cooking up a storm, to post this quickly. I leave you to enjoy some off our decorations...
