up in stitches

I received a skinny envelope in the mail the other day. Usually a skinny envelope means a rejection letter from a juried show. Well to my surprise it was just the opposite! I was so surprised that I kept quiet for a few days just in case it was a mistake... I am honored to announce that my piece Камень или Перо/Kamen' ili Pero/Rock or Feather was accepted into "Up In Stitches". It is a SAQA juried exhibition at the Yeiser Art Center in Paducah, Kentucky. Cool! I have never been to Paducah, at least my art will get to go!
