Here's the first journal of June - 23{52}. I used brown paper that I crumpled up, got wet and then let dry. That is layered with a piece of upholstery fabric and a purple netting from the grocery store. I simply hand stitched two curved lines with a gray cotton variegated thread and then swooshed on some yellow acrylic paint. Simplicity is what I was going after here...

I like all the cross-undulations in this one. (and, of course, anything purple always catches my eye)
reminds me of fish net stockings from the 60's. I love that grocery store netting too.
