Here is last weeks journal 25{52}. I am trying really hard to stick to a series this month, especially since next month I'll be traveling and it'll be hard to make journals in the first place. So here we have brown paper, wet, crumpled up and painted with yellow acrylic paint, purple mesh bag, free-hand machine stitched with off-white cotton thread, hand stitched with gray cotton variegated thread. So far I am pretty happy with the abstract look of this months journals...

Cool! Who would have guessed that these materials would create such interesting pieces? This one looks like wildfires to me.
I really like this one. The yellow makes it cheery.
