Alright.. so I could not leave Wednesday wordless.. sorry. I must report on our wonderful opening this past Sunday. It was very well attended despite the St. Patrick's Day parade that closed the road in front of the library. I wish it had occurred to me to take crowd pictures.. oh well, just imagine a packed gallery, OK?Here are a couple shots of the exhibit display. Here's our fearless leader Jane Davila giving a short speech. Here's the thinned out crowd just before the end of the reception listening to her. And here's my kid that found my art all by herself!
There is still time to go check it out until April 3rd. The info is all on my side bar, have fun!

And it was a dang inspiring exhibit, too! Natalya, I've seen your work in print and on your blog, but the piece hanging on the wall at the library is exquisite! Seeing it up close, I was amazed at the layering of different textures and all your hand stitching. Very nice piece.
Looks like a great event, and good attendance despite competing with St. Pat.
Wish I could see the exhibit in person and heard the talk. Photo of your daughter pointing at your piece is priceless!
Were the quilts mounted on canvas or matboard? Made for a nice presentation.
That last picture of your daughter finding her mommy's art all by herself steals my heart! And wins the show!
Congratulations for being in the show and am glad it had a good turn out. How long will it hang there?
Please post a close up of our piece for those of us who don't live nearby.
Congrat on being in the show. I agree w/Lynn. Love the picture of yr daughter. Did we already have St Pat's day?? Where was I?
Love those caramel walls! Like Pam, I like the art mounted on white -- it unifies all the pieces and makes all the art pop from the warm walls. Your daughter is so sweet.
How great to be part of a exhibition. It looks great. I also like the picture with your daughter in it.
wish i could see the exhibit in person. love the picture of your daughter pointing at your piece!
