journal quilt

This weeks journal quilt 50/52 is two different plastic meshes, one melted into oblivion, the other slightly painted. A dyecatcher sheet, painted perforated paper and some stitching. As I was putting it together a few days ago, I realized that it looked a lot like Jeanne Williamson's Construction Fence series quilts. I must have been channeling her since I had just bought her book for a friend...

I really like this piece. The colors are wonderful and I love the depth created by the meshes, paper, and stitching. The seemingly endless bounds of your creativity amaze me. Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Welcome to the 40s!
