journal quilt

This weeks journal quilt, 5{52}focus, is black polyester chiffon, mail stamps, silk embroidery thread, pearle cotton, and textile paint. I was drawn to experiment with black and white, and this is my attempt at it with a lot of texture involved. I didn't know what word to use in this journal until I was browsing some blogs this morning and Lisa was talking about "focus"... I thought a lot about it as I was finishing up the hand-stitching this afternoon. Focus is something I lack at times... thus it made it onto the journal.
