Here's some evidence that spring is here, crocuses blooming in my meager garden along the driveway... And evidence of art being worked on in my studio. I have been continuing to work on my Derevnya III piece. The free-hand machine embroidery is mostly done and now I am adding hand stitching. This process is very slow in general and right now being made slower by lack of time..
I am off to Philly this afternoon to the SAQA conference, Breaking New Ground. I am very excited to be attending some very interesting lectures on Saturday and touring the myriad of fiber venues on Sunday. Hopefully I will not forget to take pictures and will report back next week.
