After this first one 1-11-09, I switched to watercolors... fun!

1-18-09I have started doing them in the morning now, not quite first thing, but soon enough to call it morning. It works well for the watercolors I think, very spontaneous and fast. The colored pencils were better suited for evenings, meditative, contemplative, relaxing... we'll see what happens next..

You make it all look so easy...and yet there is an artisitic brilliance to them all! You certainly do inspire!
"Four avocados" is a perfect name! These sketches (now paintings) are so much fun to look at.

Wow. I love the feeling these give me and I can see inspiration for cloth renditions. In the past I have done doodles like this and wasn't able to see the value in them. Thank you for opening my eyes. I realize now that the excercise of doing this will just open me to many more ideas.
