back to abstract
I got tired of reality... well in my sketchbook anyway! So the last few days I have been working with abstract imagery. And experimenting with acrylic gesso with added acrylic paint for the base. It is interesting to see what effects I get with water colors and a really wet brush or water soluble crayons and pencils on the acrylic base. Here is a selection:

Really amazing vibrant colors. Love these. I am with you on working in abstract. I love being able to go from one to the other, but my first love is abstract.
I am so enjoying these bright color abstracts. Did you use some sort of resist on the last one to create the white circles?
